As a Westerner, every time you let a tap run as you clean your teeth, every time you hose your plants in summer, every time you fill up your child’s water pistol, you take pure water for granted. You take for granted a resource so precious in parts of Asia and Africa that it’s like liquid gold.

It’s a vastly unreported problem. Drought, famine and disease in the world’s developing countries are so widespread and so constant that they barely count as news.

What’s needed is a concerted effort on the part of government and charities to create a sustainable solution to the problem, which kills around 5,000 people every single day.

At PURIFI, a registered charity established by a consortium of wealthy individuals, we understand the necessity for a solution, and have the means, through our unique, portable water-purification system, to deliver it.
